Botanical Grid Workshop

Join artists Sam Waters & Jan Austin for a relaxed and inspiring half-day workshop exploring botanical printing and collage. You’ll create your own beautifully layered artwork using real leaves, acrylic paint, a Gelli plate, and a curated collection of vintage and specialty papers.

In the morning, you’ll print a variety of textures and colours using botanical forms. In the afternoon, you’ll select your favourite prints, cut them into strips and squares, and assemble your own unique botanical grid collage on a pre-prepared wooden panel.

You’ll leave with:

• A finished artwork ready to hang or frame

• New skills in Gelli plate printing and collage

• A warm glow from creative play and community

• Gelli Plate Techniques

• Layering & Composition – Learn how to build up your prints
• New textures & materials – experiment with botanicals
• Explore different papers – try printing on vintage papers, tissues and unexpected surfaces
• Editing and refining your prints – gain confidence in making creative choices

•Lunch and Refreshments – Enjoy a delicious homemade lunch, as we pause to refuel before the afternoon session.

All materials are provided, and there will be frames available to purchase on the day.

Cancellation policy

Bookings are non refundable, If you tell us more than 14 days prior to the workshop date, you can transfer to an alternative date or another similar workshop.

If you need to cancel your workshop with less than 14 days notice, your payment is non-refundable or transferable. However, you are welcome to offer your place to someone else, just make sure to inform us of their name and contact details before the day.
